APOSTILLE
The Apostille is actually a square shaped stamp (with the side of 9 cm), identical in all the state members of the Hague Convention which is applied directly on the notarized document or on an extension of it. The Hague Apostille: regardless of the country where it is applied, all these stamps bear the following name: Apostille - Convention de la Haye du 5 Octobre 1961. For international acknowledgment, marital status documents, respectively the birth and marriage certificates, after being applied the apostille by the de Prefecture, are translated into the language of the country of destination, by a certified translator (including the apostille), and then they are notarized by a notary public, and, finally, the notarized translation is applied the apostille by the competent court of law.
